A romance quickly springs up and he installs her in a villa. Their happiness is marred, however, when his wife appears.

In ancient Rome, the men display their brawn through a chariot race, using dogs instead of horses. In contemporary times, the man finds himself overcome by modernity, including a very fragile car.

The second part shows the efficacy of the commandments in modern life through a story set in San Francisco.
