A wealthy widower, Bhanu Pratap Singh, whose son and daughter are grown and living away from home, decides to marry again. He chooses for his bride a young woman named Aarti, but on his wedding night he discovers that Aarti is in love with another man, Anand. Singh realizes that Aarti will never really be his, so he agrees to divorce her and get her married to Anand, but before that can occur Anand dies in a road accident and his dismembered hand goes missing. This cursed hand takes on a life of its own and goes on a killing spree, beginning with Singh’s son, Harish.
